Tlie Oregon's Fate.
Nkw Yohk, April 13.—The Mail and Express asserts that on Sunday last a diver of tbe Meiritt "Wrecking company want down and made an examination of tho sunken steamer Oregon' and ascertained beyond a doubt''that ahe -was sunk by a eoUisipn. Ten feetbolow the riiain deck and about twenty feet forward of the bridge the diver found a hole in the stoamor'a side. I^ho heavy iron plate was crushed in. The hole is six feet deep and three feet in breadth at the widest wart. The steamer is broken in two and her upper decks parted over twelve feet on top. Most of her cargo ■will be saved.
